He bought a house on the road where he grew up. “I didn’t stray too far,” he smiles. He’s waiting up at the Ballyfermot De La Salle clubhouse. Ballyfermot erase the pain of last year's Junior Two Championship defeat.

Only a year after losing out to Wanderers in the Junior Two Club Football Championship Final, Ballyfermot De La Salle were back in this year's decider and recorder a 3-15 to 2-8 victory over Shankill in O'Toole Park on Sunday.

Dave Reynolds Being Named Dublin Minor Football Manager:

Reynolds takes charge of Dublin minors

ST JUDE’S stalwart Dave Reynolds has been appointed Dublin Minor Men’s Football team manager for the forthcoming inter-county season.

Having served as selector in 2021 – a campaign that saw them losing to eventual All-Ireland champions Meath in a provincial decider – Reynolds assumed the reins from Ger Lyons.

A native of Balbriggan and a member of the O’Dwyers GAA club, Lyons has worked as a school teacher in Coláiste Phádraig, Lucan for a number of years.
